Simplemente Joni

Joni fue musa y hoy ya madura lo es, porque es una artista soberbia. Creativa, original, talentosa. Esta canadiense se abrio al mundo de la música tempranamente es su pais, y luego emigro a los Estados Unidos, California a fines de los 60 participando en la movida del folk acustico como buena guitarrista que es, y mejor musica. Con una voz, de fumadora, que canta en todos los registros. Formo parte de la fauna que habitaba en Laurel Canyon, The Doors, Frank Zappa, Mama Cass, The Eagles, The Byrds, Crosby Stillis & Nash de quien este último fuera pareja y sigue una lista casi interminable de habitantes notorios. Tuvo una carrera muy extendida, influyente y brillante, porque ella lo es.

Del LP Turbulent Indigo de mediados de los 90, una colección de canciones memorables. Y que dejamos la tapa que es un auntoretrato ya que ella siendo artista plastica ademas, pinto todas las carátulas de sus discos, van estos tres temas al pie. No hay un Van Gogh parecido ...? O es idea mia? Que música, Chapeau!!
