Ella quizás merecería una entrada en particular. Esta pintora y cantautora canadiense brillante y personalísima, es emblema del hippismo. Del quizás mejor LP editado por ella BLUE, un tema genial. Toca en vivo con un antiguo instrumento de cuerda llamado dulcimele, usado hasta hoy en el folk americano.

Lo que sigue es jazz. Del LP dedicado a su amigo el contrabajista Charles Mingus a modo de tributo, ya que fue al poco tiempo de su fallecimiento, tiene algunas canciones compuestas por Mingus. Ella toca la guitarra acústica y canta. La acompaña el bajista Jaco Pastorius, (Weather Report) un superdotado que hizo que el bajo eléctrico dejara un poco de estar atrás acompañando simplemente a pasar adelante como solista también, esto se nota especialmente en este tema que es de ella. Usaba bajos fretless (sin trastes) como los contrabajos y cuerdas con un entorchado especial, que acá las usaba creo Pedro Aznar en Serú Giran, dan el mismo sonido picante como a distorsionado. Digo gente, no es fácil cantar jazz así, definitivamente no es para cualquiera, es para pocos diría.

El que sigue es el legendario Stephen Stills, integrante junto a David Crosby, Graham Nash, del mas grande supergrupo del folk-rock americano. Acá esta solista y lo está de ex-profeso por esa manera de tocar la acústica en este temazo. La voz esta jugada, pero como toca arpegiado siendo cuerdas de acero !! que sea una guitarra Martin facilita el tema o evita los callos ...:-) Esta en el show de Jools Holland. De antología. El es el compositor.

Acá va con todos. Este último verano tuve el privilegio de verlos en vivo en el Luna Park, le pedí a mi hijo que si no llegaba vivo al recital, me llevara en el ataud ... imposible faltar ..:-). Este tema lo tocaron. Como siempre los arreglos vocales, son inigualables. Merecen y largamente una entrada solos, y acá la van a tener.
